Emily and Neal met through an online dating app called Bumble in Milwaukee, WI. At the time, Emily was in graduate school working towards a master's degree in occupational therapy. Neal was working full time as an ICU nurse at St. Luke's Medical Center. Many of their first dates consisted of exploring the city of Milwaukee. Some of their favorites: local brewery tours, kayaking the Milwaukee River, Irish Fest, Blu Lounge, Carnevor Steak House, and lakeshore walks. Since then, Emily and Neal have moved to Appleton and rescued a sweet pup named Rylee. Emily works full time as an OT at a skilled nursing facility. Neal graduated in May of 2022 with a doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia and has started working full time as a CRNA. In May of 2021, Emily and Neal took a trip to Kure Beach, North Carolina. While walking the beach and enjoying the sunset, Neal asked Emily to marry him. She said YES! You can say the rest is history!!
