You will have received an invitation.
This is awkward.
If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes! If not, we have only planned for your attendance and have limited space.
Unless you have obtained prior written approval from the Bride (and sometimes Groom), please refer to the “Can I bring a date?” question.
We decided to not include kids and want our wedding to be your big night out!
Sure! But only if they received an invitation.
Both! Juniper is a rooftop venue that opens up completely to the open sky. It can get a little windy, so the roof will be closed during dinner. During the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception the roof will be open! *Weather permitting!
Because of the potential wind, having a shawl handy is a good idea. Also, you may want to wear sunscreen and have your sunglasses with you for during the ceremony and prior to sunset!
Cocktail hour will be outside on the terrace where there will be an additional bar as well. *Please note, due to the layout of the venue, you may see family pictures being taken and the transition from ceremony to reception taking place! This is something we have decided to accept in exchange for the amazing view, sunset and open vibe the venue has to offer!
The Smith Brothers Warehouse has 3 venues, which could make it confusing for guests. When you enter the parking lot, pull up to the building on the left and you will see a sign for Juniper and also with our names! Once you enter, you will walk through a hallway to get to the elevator area that will take you to the rooftop.
In its prime, during the 40’s and 50’s Smith Brothers was one of the largest hardware distribution companies throughout the Midwest. Eventually the hardware business shuttered in the early 80’s and the building sat vacant for 15 years while they tried to come up with a way to utilize the site or building structure.
When you pull up, leave your car with the valet. There is no charge for this service it is part of our wedding at Juniper.
*If you valet, you must get your keys from the attendant before leaving the venue for the night. The DJ will remind everyone at the end of the night! If you forget your keys, you will not be able to get them until the following Tuesday when Juniper is open and your car will be towed. Once you get your keys from the attendant upon leaving Juniper, you are okay to pick your car up from the lot on Sunday. *If you don't valet (you should be utilizing the valet!), you can pick your car up Sunday from the lot.
Yes, it is very important to think about your car situation and listen to the DJ as the night nears an end.
No transportation is provided by the hotel. We recommend you uber or taxi over to the venue or utilize the free valet service and park at the venue!
Cocktail attire is preferred. But please read the FAQ that is listed pertaining to the rooftop so that you are prepared for the indoor/outdoor experience. Especially if it is windy, so you don't end up wearing the actual cocktail.
The Leveque Tower is a 47-story, historic skyscraper located at 50 West Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. At 555 feet 5 inches (169.29 m) it was the tallest building in the city from its completion in 1927 to 1974, and remains the second-tallest today. It has been a beacon of hospitality in Downtown Columbus since 1927, and it once even served as an aerial lighthouse for Amelia Earhart.
We blocked 20 rooms at Hotel LeVeque at a discounted rate of $199 for standard rooms and $329 for suites. Please feel free to book a room from our block or look around for other hotels in the area!
Le Meridian Columbus- The Joseph is very close to the venue! Also, Hilton downtown and the Renaissance are both very nice. There are a lot of options in Columbus, I just would book your room soon if you need one! There are other events in Columbus on June 1st which is why we only have 1 room block hotel!
The Chicken option is: Chicken Piccata with Italian Green Beans and Garlic Red Skin Mashed Potatoes. The Salmon option is: Grilled Salmon with Parmesan Reggiano Risotto and Grilled Asparagus.
Please write on your RSVP card any dietary restrictions.
Please put the initials of all that will be attending next to each section. For example, if you are a couple that is able to come and one wants chicken and one salmon, put both of your initials next to the section saying you are coming and the correct initials next to chicken and salmon. We need to know what each individual person would like to order.
If you haven’t RSVP’s by April 15th, the Bride has likely already removed you from her general contact list.
We chose an "All-In-One" invitation. Which we thought was pretty cool and unique! You will need to tear the bottom section off at the perforated edge and mail it back to us. It has a stamp on it for you to make it easy! Because our invitation doesn't have multiple pieces, we have put as much information on this website to answer any questions that you have!
That isn't this event. That is on Easter.

You have the Bride and Groom’s permission.
Some people say the Bride and Groom never forget their wedding day.
They are busy.
That would be the mother of the bride, Judy Magill.
