Nathaniel and I met at Wright State in an art class we were both using to fill one of our core requirements. He sat two seats away from me and gained the courage to talk to me after seeing me in Kroger with my mom (who he thought was my grandma) and using that as a conversation starter. On January 24, 2018 we began talking and he asked me out on our first date which I was hesitant about but decided to say yes anyway (He actually first asked me out to dinner and I told him I had to work, which was a lie but I did pick up a shift because I felt too bad). I told my friend Jugad I was nervous and asked her to casually show up on our date where we went out to First Watch for breakfast before class. Jugad showed up and Nathaniel had no idea that it was planned until over a year later. Just a week after on January 31st we officially became a couple when he told me "I think I'm falling in love with you" . We've been together ever since and got engaged on Kelleys Island in a spot my family had been taking pictures at since I was about 7 on September 22, 2019. When I was little, I would never have imagined that one day, this place that was so significant to my family would soon become a very significant spot to my growing family. We eagerly await our wedding day and have been talking about this day since about month 3 of our relationship and are excited to spend the day with the people most important to us!
