Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Chateau Davell at 5:30pm to allow time for parking and finding your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. We encourage all of our guests to wear our wedding colors which are Sage Green, Ash Blue, and Burnt Orange :) Please no jeans/ denim & avoid shades of white.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue has free on-site parking. We are asking that all guests park in the gravel lot in front of the venue’s paved parking lot so that we do not have cars in the way of the wedding party.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will be having an intimate “micro-wedding” with our immediate family and bridal party. Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. No young children or babies will be attending our wedding. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a “night out" for yourself!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Cocktail hour will be in the Barrel Room onsite to offer a cool place to drink prior to the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No! We have purchased plenty of wine (both white and red options) as well as beer. Once it is gone, you are more than welcome to purchase additional drinks at the bar. There will be no hard liquor available.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please review the “travel” tab on our website for our recommendations on where to stay. Camino/Placerville is a small town and there are limited hotels. We highly suggest planning ahead and booking an Airbnb or looking in the surrounding cities for accommodations (El Dorado Hills or Folsom)

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 30th, using the RSVP tab in the menu. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.
