This is where Em and I got engaged, we camped out at the base, woke up around 3AM and started hiking to catch sunrise! The hike itself takes about 4-5 hours so bring plenty of water and snacks, once up there enjoy panoramic views of the Green Mountains. Length 6.0 mi Elevation gain 2,588 ft

If you are looking for a boost of adrenaline and are a decent biker would recommend checking out this spot. Em had her first downhill experience here and survived, both of us had a blast and walked away unscathed...mostly :) if this is a little too much, they also do E-bike tours and more chill trail riding check out the link for more info.

Historic Vanderbilt grounds turned to a working farm focused on sustainability. It has over five miles of walking paths throughout with amazing views of Lake Champlain and beautiful gardens. Great place to get some fresh air and if you have kids let them run around, there is also a petting zoo!

Zig and zag your way to the summit ridge of Mt. Mansfield along the historic Toll Road, where stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains await you. The road up Mount Mansfield is 4.5 miles of awe-inspiring natural beauty. You can park at 3,850 feet, relax and take it all in. If you find yourself in Burlington, this place is a must stop. Interesting brews always, and incredible food. They also recently opened a huge brewery space with shuffle board, air hockey and pool!

This area is commonly called "little Austria", affecteonality named by the Von Trapp family as they settled here in the early 1940s. Has breathe taking views and great german styled beers and food also you guessed it lots of great hiking around the grounds, Em and I ran a half marathon here and love to take folks when the come to visit, its always a fun time!
