Our Story

Emily and Mitch first crossed paths back in eighth grade. At the time, they were simply part of the same circle of friends—until one day after school, a mutual friend officially introduced them. Something clicked immediately. That very evening, Emily went home and told her sister, “I have a crush on Mitch—he’s so cute!” And from that moment, everything began to change. They started talking more and quickly grew closer. On April 6, 2018, in the middle school hallway, Mitch asked Emily to be his girlfriend by reciting a heartfelt poem he had written just for her. She said yes—and their story officially began. Over the years, they’ve grown up together—learning, evolving, and building a strong relationship not only with each other but also with God. After years filled with laughter, growth, and love, Mitch got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him. She said yes once more—this time to forever. They celebrated their engagement with an unforgettable trip to Jamaica and are now counting down the days until they say “I do.” Today, Emily is a full-time wedding photographer, and Mitch is working hard at the Denver airport. They are excited for everything the future holds and are deeply grateful to have found each other so early in life. With hearts full of love and faith, they’re ready to begin their next chapter—together Through every season—young love, growth, and now engagement—Emily and Mitch have seen God’s faithfulness woven into their journey. They believe their love is a reflection of His grace and a testament to His perfect timing. As they prepare to step into marriage, they do so with grateful hearts, giving all glory to God for writing their love story and guiding them every step of the way. Their deepest hope is to build a marriage that reflects Christ’s love and brings honor to Him in all things.
