Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Austin City Limits Music Festival will be happening the same weekend as our wedding, however, this shouldn’t affect accommodations in Wimberley. If you are flying into Austin, please plan accordingly by booking flights and/or rental cars ahead of time.

Will the event be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal.

What food will be served? Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be serving Texas BBQ including brisket, sausage, green beans, and mac n’ cheese from Cattleman’s Catering. We will also be serving a vegan dish. Cake/dessert will be provided by Busy B’s Bakery. Yes, we will have an open bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Parking will be on site.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Wimberley has plenty of options for accommodations! We recommend finding an AirBnB, Wimberley Inn, The Bygone, Hotel Floral and Fauna, or Blanco River Hotel.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to and from hotels. Please plan ahead to have your own transportation and/or carpool with others.
