When we first met in 2018, we were introduced by a mutual friend but that was as far as things went. Over time fate brought us together, and by fate I mean a wave on Facebook messenger. We’ve been inseparable since our story began and we both knew from the start we had found our forever person.

On our 6 year anniversary, Maverick finally popped the question. We were away for a beautiful, serene, and relaxing weekend in Sodus Point. Maverick was toting around the ring box in a sock in his bag awaiting the perfect moment. Most everywhere we went was crowded and the mood wasn’t right. On our last day before we left to go home we stopped at Cayuga Lake after visiting Taughannock Falls, which is where he finally asked!
