Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The entire afternoon and evening will be spent at Wingate Barn. The ceremony will take place outside the Barn, and dinner and dancing will take place inside the Barn.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/dressy casual. Ladies a dress is perfect, and men please wear a suit or sport coat. The ceremony is outside so please be mindful of your footwear choice - there will be some walking in grass.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can come celebrate with us. If you have questions, please contact us directly.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.

Answer

We are registered at Target and also on Amazon. More information will come on this.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The address of Wingate Barn is 6679 Big Tree Road, Livonia, NY. A shuttle will also be running from the hotels in Geneseo (Hampton Inn and Quality Inn) before the ceremony and as the evening winds down. If coming from the hotels in Geneseo, follow Rt. 20A to Big Tree Street (it ultimately turns into Big Tree Road). Wingate Barn will be on your left.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is parking right on site. Once you follow the driveway down to the barn, there is an open field that is designated for parking. Marshalls will be present to assist with parking. We recommend using the shuttle service though, as space may be limited.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will begin running to and from the venue from the Hampton Inn and Quality Inn in Geneseo. It will start about an hour before the ceremony, and run for the last two hours of the reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be an area on the RSVP to note any food allergies or preferences.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest friends and family. Due to capacity of the barn, we can only accommodate the guests that are listed on the invitation. Please do not bring any additional guests whose names do not appear on the invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out if you have any questions!

Where should I stay? Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

The Hampton Inn, and Quality Inn located just ten minutes away in Geneseo both have room blocks arranged for the weekend. Please note you are booking a room for the Battaglia/Thompson wedding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones and devices be turned off and put away during the ceremony. After the ceremony, please take as many photos as you'd like to remember this special occasion.
