Sister & Best Friend #2- 11 Years in the Making 11 years ago God placed this sister in my life. To this day I can count on her for anything. She never ceases to make me happy, no matter when, no matter where. It is more than hard for me to say that my sister, Luda, will not be able to physically be there with us on our special day due to school back in Belarus. I, however, am confident that she will be there at heart. For anyone who doesn't know the dynamic of our relationship, let me paint you a picture. The morning after Matthew proposed, I sent Luda a message knowing she would actually be awake at that time. I sent her pictures of my ring and didn't say anything with it. Her immediate response: "Are you getting married???? Oh my gosh! That's great, but you're mine!!!" Well, I love her!

Hailey. The cousin that's more like a sister. Hailey (and her brothers) were always more like siblings than they were our cousins growing up. We were always with each other either spending the afternoon at MaMa's or spending the night at each other's houses. We share a lifetime of memories that I wouldn't trade for the world. If you ever need somebody to make you smile, try Hailey. With a heart the size of Texas, she always knows how to make somebody feel better no matter how hard they're trying to fight it. She can fill the room with laughter, even when it's at her own expense. Life would sure be dull without this sunshine in my life.

I have watched this young lady grow as she unknowingly helped me grow as well. It all started when I started working with the children's program at Elm Grove. Anna Kate was one of the children that allowed me to see ministry was a path I really wanted in life. These precious children helped me grow in my faith and gain an understanding of God's will for my life. I'm positive that Anna Kate will make a difference in this world, as she's already done so in mine. Also, for those of you who don't know, Anna Kate doesn't just hold a special place in my heart, she's got one in Matthew's as well. Anna Kate, Sarah Dunn, and Matthew all call each other "Best Friend".

Sweetest soul known to man. Beautiful inside and out. As sharp as cheddar and as thoughtful as the mouse who gets it without getting caught in the trap. Sarah Dunn has been instrumental in my growth as a leader, Christian, and person. Through the countless times of reading through Bible passages, learning the books of the Bible, and watching silly videos that try to apply the Bible to life today, Sarah Dunn always stayed light-hearted and enthusiastic. People like Sarah Dunn are the ones who make it possible for people like me, shy and afraid to say something wrong, step up and learn while teaching others at the same time. Sarah Dunn is the third, alongside Anna Kate and Matthew, of the trio who call each other "Best Friend". They make my heart happy.

My beautiful little cousin Mikayla. Mikayla is the daughter of my dad's youngest brother. She will be 5 by the time of our big day and I couldn't be happier to have her as such a sweet part of it. She's a bright, beautiful, strong little girl that holds a special place in my heart. Knowing that she will never have a relationship with our grandparents as I had, I always want to make sure she will know how much they would have loved and spoiled her. Having her involved in my wedding kinda makes me feel like my grandparents are going to be there too.

My precious cousin Shaylor. Shaylor is the daughter of my mother's cousin, Terri. Terri has always held a special place in my heart. She is sweet, thoughtful, and caring and she has sure passed it down to her beautiful little girl, Shaylor. I hate that I don't get to see them as often as I would like because they live so far away, but the times that we do get to have together are unforgettable. Shaylor, from what I get to see of her, reminds me a lot of myself when I was little. She likes princesses but she likes playing in the dirt too. This cutie will be 4 at the time of the wedding and I am stoked for her to be part of our day.

Bucky Johnson is not only my Best Man he is also my Dad. He is the best man I know and I have always said that if I was half the man his he then that would be good. He has taught me everything about being a godly man and persevering through the hard times. I may be taller than him but I will always look up to him.

When we are in a room together you are bound to find us together laughing and making stupid jokes. I am grateful that my brother is a part of this new journey of my life and he will be someone that will point me toward Christ in my marriage.

Jeff is a good-hearted man who has exposed me to more of the world than anyone else. He challenges me to think more critically and helps me to see the side of a situation that I never thought about. I love talking to him about music and other cultures. God has blessed my life by placing Jeff in it.

Jeremy is the brother that taught everything I know now about annoying Emmy. He served our country for 10 years in the Marines and Air Force. He has taught me to not take everything so seriously and that God is the one who is in control. He has added so much laughter into my life.

This is my nephew and he will 5 years old by the time of the wedding. He is the son of Jason (Officiant) and Allison Currie. He is really intelligent and wants to be a trash man, a farmer, a preacher, and A/C switch technician, like his Grandpa's and Dad, except the trash man, that's all him.

You have never seen a boy with so much joy in his eyes until you met Isaiah. This is the younger son of Jason and Allison Currie and my nephew. He is quieter than his brother Samuel but is just as bright. I am excited to see him grow into the man God wants him to be.

Jason Currie is the brother who has been my spiritual mentor ever since I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. He has always pointed me towards Christ. He was the first one to encourage me in pursuit of going into full-time ministry. Plus, when he became ordained he called dibs on being the officiant at my wedding.

Jason is the "adopted" son of the Savage family. No blood or legal ties, only love. After meeting Jason on the mission field one summer the whole family had just formed an unbreakable bond. I love listening to Jason sing because you can see the joy it brings him and those around him through what can only be described as a gift from God. I couldn't think of a better person to ask to sing at my wedding than my brother Jason.

The "adopted" cousin of the Savage family. Christa's mom, Sue, is the adopted daughter of Carol and Ken Sikes, Emmy's grandparents. All of my life I have known them as family and it has been such a blessing. I have such sweet memories with them and they have been involved in some pretty special moments of my life, so it seems fitting to have Christa as part of my wedding day. (It doesn't hurt that she has a great voice!)
