During the pandemic Emily and Matt were feeling discouraged from dating. Matt had moved down the shore to complete a rotation for school. He went back home one weekend to visit his grandfather's grave and asked him for a sign. If he didn’t receive one he would take a break from dating for a while. Later that night Emily messaged him online. Emily liked to drag her feet when it came to dating but had a gut feeling about Matt. She had a long list of dating rules but something told her that he was worth breaking them. The morning of their very first date, Emily looked outside of her window to see a Blue Bird which has always been her symbol for her grandfather. Two months into dating Matt and Emily spoke to a psychic medium who had a message from both Emily and Matt’s grandfathers. It said how happy they were that the couple had finally found each other and that the two were destined soulmates. Emily and Matt are thankful for divine intervention and their beloved grandfathers for pulling strings in Heaven so they would finally meet.
