Abigail Dixon

Maid of Honor

Abigail and I have been friends since the womb. She emanates boldness and confidence and has no problem telling it how it is. She also has a unique ability to convince her closest people to celebrate her birthday at Disney and her graduation in Costa Rica and I could not be more thankful for that adventurous spirit and all the memories she creates. Being with her season after season has only sealed the fact that we're stuck together forever!

Darby Lane

Maid of Honor

Darby and I met in Kindergarten, so long ago. The thing I love the most about Darby is her heartwarming and honest presence. She's the kind of person who strives to be better. She's intentional and present. She also played cards with me for like 2 hours recently and if you know me, you know I love games, so that makes her the best friend. She's the other friend of mine who is basically stuck with me forever and I'm so thankful for that! We have many years of friendship to come!

Megan Arnold

Bridesmaid

Megan joined the family just 1 year ago (yes, my brothers and I are getting married within 14 months!). The thing I've learned the most from Megan is to live life to the fullest. She is so much fun to be around and is an all around badass! I can always count on her to take a dance-break with me and I fully expect one multiple times through this wedding process. I can't wait for all the fun we'll have as family!

Leah Coleman

Bridesmaid

Leah and I have the unique privilege of going through this engagement process together! Just a few months before Matthew popped the question, my brother asked Leah the same one and I couldn't be more thrilled! Leah is full of grace and poise. She has a beautiful heart and lives with elegance. The more I get to know her, the more I can't wait to be family.

Lynleigh Kaye Hall

Bridesmaid

There's so much I love about Lynleigh Kaye! We met at Georgia Southern and served at the Wesley Foundation together. She is most definitely the coolest person I know and lives her life with an unapologetic conviction that inspires many. We've bonded over ministry and Judah and the Lion concerts. She's the kind of friend who will be around for years and I adore her for that!

McKenzie Reeves

Bridesmaid

No one has had as much of an impact on my life in the shortest amount of time than McKenzie. I met McKenzie when I started working at the John Maxwell Co. in October 2017. We were co-workers first, friends second, roommates third, and huggers never. She mentors me, listens to me, and teaches me to live with intention and grace. I'm more than a little sad I have to leave her and our cute apartment to live with a boy!

Basil Phucas

Best Groomsman

I first met Basil while on summer staff at Glisson Camp & Retreat Center, with more escapades packed into him than everyone else I know, he's always pushed me to be more adventurous. He was the person who helped facilitate my transfer more than anyone, and made sure I had a home in Statesboro. From 'what are the odds,' to ultimate, to moving to Statesboro, he's always been there with dad jokes and the most positive outlook on life. He's by far the coolest and least creepy person I know who lives in their outfitted van.

Ben Morales

Best Groomsman

My first encounter with Ben was at a concert while I was still at North Georgia. When I transferred to Georgia Southern and Ben would become one of my best friends thanks to our shared love of Wesley campus ministry, intramural sports, the best music, and soccer (Come on you Five Stripes). Him and his soon to be wife, Lynleigh Kaye, have been our 'couple friends' through college and engagement, as they always seem to be on the same wavelength as us.

Josh Reynolds

Best Groomsman

I first met Josh through summer staff at Glisson as well. We share a love of Atlanta sports (RIP Thrashers), Georgia Tech, sarcasm, and the occasional bad movie. I can always count on Josh to help teach me a new thing, whether it be the best way to remember how to do a knot or something with engineering. I've always respected Josh for the way he worked through a hard school and major. He's always been good for a solid laugh or few minutes of it after long days of camp or work.

Mitchell Attaway

Best Groomsman

I also first met Mitchell at the aforementioned concert, not knowing that he'd soon be a roommate. If we're going technical here, he was the reason I first met Emily when I did. He didn't want me to eat alone on my first night in Statesboro and invited me to dinner with friends, which Emily happened to be at. Apparently the dinner was a going away party for Darby, one of our Maids of Honor, but I promise I didn't know that. Mitchell has always been there to impart his wisdom whether it be about Wesley leadership, relationships, or sports debates and one of the reasons I felt so welcomed at Georgia Southern.

Nick Geter

Best Groomsman

I met Nick because he's a friend of a best friend of Emily. No really. Since then, our own friendship has grown and we're now "bros" or "boys" or whatever the kids say these days. Either way, Nick has been one of my first and best YoPro friends in Atlanta. We've shared a love of the Jackets, Braves, Atlanta United, and travel. From beach trips to Disney, to a Costa Rica trip I didn't get to go on, I can always count on Nick to have a crazy but doable idea. Ladies, he's single.

Win Griffith

Best Groomsman

I've known Win since our days at Camp Glisson and North Georgia Wesley. We spent many of our college days at 4 places: the drill field for Wesleyyyyy sports, Chow for chicken finger Friday, the Wesley House dominating on NCAA Football, and our driveway having deep talks. One of the original brothers of Mu Omega Wumbo (Men of Wesley) he's always good for a better than average pun, Spongebob reference, or sermon and always seems close by even if life has taken him across the country or planet.

Winston Hunter

Best Groomsman

The tallest of the Best Groomsmen, Winston and I also go back to our days at Glisson and North Georgia. We've taken in many Tech and Braves games together as well as the occasional brew. Winston is who I trust most when it comes to trying a new drink or letting him make one for me, but even more importantly is a great friend. He always knows the best words of wisdom in trying times and is always good to try and get your mind off of something you don't want it to be on. I can always count on an invite from Winston for the coolest places in the A, and a dang good time.

For all the days along the way
