Masks are optional at our wedding and reception. The only time masks are absolutely required is when you go through the food line, but after you go through and get your food you are allowed to take it off. Masks will be available at both the church and Lake Lyndsay so you do not have to bring your own unless you choose to do so.
Upon arrival at the church, we will be checking temperatures at the door and asking if you currently have or had in the past couple of days any of the following signs and symptoms: fever, body/muscle aches or body chills, cough, sore throat, loss of taste and/or smell, shortness of breath, recent onset of extreme fatigue, congestion or runny nose, nausea and/or vomiting, or diarrhea. Please, if you do not feel well and have any of these signs or symptoms, please stay home to protect the bride and groom and other guests in attendance. We will understand completely if you are unable to attend.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the church and Lake Lyndsay at high contact areas, i.e. guest book, cake table, bar, and various other places. Hand sanitizer and masks will be required to enter the food buffet line and will be monitored by a server. Every other church pew is closed off to help with social distancing while at the church. Our groomsmen will be seating guests, but if you are not comfortable with them seating you, you may politely decline. At Lake Lyndsay, guest tables are 6ft apart and we tried to seat guests with their own families or other guests that we felt they would be comfortable sitting with. Door knobs and handles at Lake Lyndsay will be wiped down frequently throughout the night by one of the venue representatives.
We are not having full mass and are simply having a regular wedding ceremony.
Bullwinkle's will be catering our food. Our dinner menu consists of: salad, garlic bread, alfredo pasta, chicken parmesan, and a meat lasagna. Various finger foods such as meatballs, cheese, veggies, etc. will be available as appetizers until dinner is served.
The ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. so please arrive before then.
There is no actual dress code, but semi-formal is highly encouraged.
