We’re getting married!

Emily and Marquise had their first date in January of 2020. Marquise picked a beautiful restaurant on the waterfront, and what they thought would be a casual lunch date turned into a 4-hour life changing experience. Then, three months in, the world shut down due to COVID-19. Dates became FaceTime calls, movie nights, and deep dives into whatever anime series was next on the list. Marquise made a surprise visit in May for Emily's birthday. While they couldn't be near each other, they finally got to speak without a phone. As the world opened back up, so did their adventure book. Trips were planned, new places explored, and memories stacked up alongside the friends and family who mean the most to them. These days, Emily and Marquise share a home in New Jersey with their two chaotic cats, Mushu and Luna, who run the house and are deeply unbothered about it. Their lives are forever changing and growing with the experiences and memories made with their friends and family. They can't wait to celebrate with everyone who's been part of the story so far!

On June 27, 2025, Marquise took Emily out to dinner and asked if they wanted to finish the night with a walk down by the water and get some ice cream. Emily had no idea that tucked throughout the waterfront, hiding behind bushes and buildings, their closest friends were waiting, ready to witness what was about to happen. As Emily looked out at the city skyline, watching helicopters and taking in the view, Marquise was sharing the words that would change everything. He then got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him. The couple was then greeted by their friends and had a night full of celebration. Now, it's your turn to celebrate with them. It's been over 2,192 days since that first lunch date, so come ready to party! The date has now been set to say I do in front of their closest family and friends.
