We met on Earth Day and the whole world changed! Luis proposed on our anniversary on the beach in Incline Village after a bike ride in Tahoe City and dinner at Lone Eagle. As we walked along the beach at sunset he made a comment about what a great seven years it’s been, to which I warmly agreed. He asked me how long I wanted to keep doing it. “As long as we can” I replied. “How long is that?” he asked while holding my hand. “Not long enough” I said as our lives flashed before my eyes. He then let go of my hand and as I turned to him he was on his knee on the beach with tears in his eyes and he asked me to marry him. Claro! I embraced him and kissed him and kissed him. It was a beautiful beautiful moment. We’ll marry just a little further down the beach at Sand Harbor, on Earth Day of course!!
