You should plan to fly in and out of Mexico City (MEX).
Hotel
You should plan to stay in Mexico City on Friday, February 13th for our Welcome Event. We will be staying at the Hotel Geneve while in Mexico City, and have reserved enough rooms for everyone to stay at the same hotel. Staying at the hotel is not required, and you are welcome to book your own accommodation throughout Mexico City if that is what you prefer. If you don't book the hotel, we recommend staying in the neighborhoods of Roma Norte, Condesa, Polanco or Juarez. The welcome event will take place in Polanco. To book this hotel, please email cocaz@hotelgeneve.com.mx to inquire about booking a room. Please include the code BODALEONEL in your email. We suggest spending the morning exploring Mexico City before heading to Tepoztlán, where the pre-wedding party and wedding will take place on Feb 14-15th. Guests should plan to depart Mexico City for Tepoztlán by around 1 pm on Saturday, February 14th. Tepoztlán is about an hour drive from Mexico City, depending on traffic. We will be sharing more details about getting from Mexico City to Tepoztlán closer to the wedding date. You should plan for the shuttle to depart from the Hotel Geneve (130 Londres, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06600, Mexico).
Hotel
Our wedding will be taking place at Posada del Tepozteco. Please reserve your room here if you wish to stay on site from Saturday, February 14th - Monday, February 16th. Space is limited, so if staying at the venue is important to you, we suggest booking sooner rather than later. We will send a heads up before the hotel is at capacity. You are not required to stay at Posada to attend our wedding or any events we will host throughout the weekend, and there are many other accommodations (including hotels and Airbnbs) at all price points within a 5-10 minute walk from the venue. If you want any recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We've listed step-by-step instructions for reserving the hotel on the "How to reserve the wedding hotel" section of this website.
Shuttle
February 16, 2026 6:00 am
We will be sharing more details about transportation from Tepoztlán to Mexico City on Monday, February 16th closer to the wedding. If you wish to make your own plans after the wedding, you can organize your shuttle from Tepoztlán to the MEX Aiport directly through your hotel. Your hotel or Airbnb can also organize your transport back to Mexico City or your onward personal travel. Uber will not be available in Tepoztlán, so you should not plan to take Uber from Tepoztlán to the airport or to your next destination.
Travel Note
We recommend using Uber to travel from the airport to your accommodation in Mexico City and around CDMX. There are also taxi stands in the MEX airport where you can book an official taxi. We do not recommend hailing a taxi on your own in Mexico City or Tepoztlán. Please note that Uber is not readily available in Tepoztlán, but the hotels can call you a taxi if needed. All of our events in Tepoztlán will be at the hotel, and we hope that all guests are either staying on site or within walking distance of the hotel, so cabs will not be needed. We do not recommend renting a car for the weekend.
