What will the weather be like?

Answer

Mountain weather can be unpredictable. We suggest bringing layers! You likely won’t need your jacket or sweater for the ceremony. Our reception will be inside a clear top tent.

I need a more detailed timeline!

Answer

Here is a rough timeline of the day/night: 2:30 All guests must arrive at gondola by this time for upload (15 minute ride up the mountain) 3:00: Ceremony begins 3:15: Ceremony ends and guests may remain on the mountain until 4:15 pm to take pictures together or just enjoy the views 4:00: Venue opens for cocktail hour in the tent; guests will proceed from base of gondola to Square. Anywhere from 4:30-5:00: Bride, groom, and parties announced 10:00: Reception ends; bride and groom exit.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the Vail Wedding Deck. The reception will be inside a tent.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please see our travel page for more details! As for getting to Vail, you can either fly directly into Vail, or fly into Denver and take a shuttle to Vail/rent a car. We get discounts on the shuttle so be sure to see our travel page for all of those details. We encourage all guests to stay in Vail Village or Lionshead Village, as there is a free bus throughout and between the two that will be utilized throughout the weekend!

What time and where should I arrive for the ceremony?

We ask that guests please arrive no later than 2:30 to the base of the gondola in Lionshead Village. Guests will upload the gondola at that time and the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.

Is parking free?

Answer

Usually during the summer, parking in Vail is free during the day, with a 25 dollar overnight fee. Ask your hotel or Airbnb for information regarding parking on their own grounds.

Your little ones are more than welcome to join in our celebration!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that guests reach out to us if they desire to bring a date. We will however not be able to guarantee any plus-ones until we have a more final guest count.

Do you have a hotel block or any discounts for guests on accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Guests can receive 20% off the Lodge at Vail rooms and condos, Riva Ridge, Villa Valhalla condos, the Arrabelle rooms and condos, the Ritz Carlton condos, the Lion condos, Landmark condo, and Gore Creek homes. Guests also receive 20% off at the Arrabelle spa. Guests will also receive discounts on the following: Colorado Mountain Express transportation (Denver-Vail, etc) and Epic Discovery activities.
