Landry and I met in 2012 when I got my first job working as a cashier at Farm Fresh. He had already worked there for awhile when I started. It didn't take us long to become friends and he has been my best friend ever since! By March of 2013 we started dating. We dated for a little over 5 years and got engaged on May 4th 2018.

Landry and I had been dating for over 5 years and about a week before we got engaged he asked if he could take me out on a date to The W restaurant ( A really fancy restaurant in Du Quoin Illinois). I agreed and thought nothing of it since we went on dates all the time. Landry made the reservations and the next Friday we got all dressed up and went on our date. When we got to the restaurant and walked in there were beautiful roses on the table and that is when I started suspecting that something was up. Landry assured me that he just wanted to make our date special since we were going somewhere nice and he wanted to show how much he loved and appreciated me so I just went along with it. After dinner he asked if I wanted to drive out to the fairgrounds so of course I said yes since we went out there all the time. It was starting to get dark so we got out of the car and started to walk around the pond and were watching the sunset and the geese swimming around. We got back to the car and Landry gave me a hug and kiss and we talked for a few minutes then all of a sudden he pulled a ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES! It was the best day ever and I can't wait to become Mrs. Arnett on September 28th 2019!
