Flying Fish Cafe
Emily worked here during summers in college. Start your day here for the best coffee and pastries in town! The pastries and other sweets are made by the same baker who is making our wedding cake :)
Great Pond
If swimming is your thing, the best place to do so is Great Pond, a beautiful kettle pond with s small beach. For little kids we would recommend Long Pond instead as there is a larger beach area and its closer to town. If you want to rent a kayak or SUP, check out Jack's Boat Rental! They drop off the boats for you.
The Beachcomber
If you're looking for quintessential Wellfleet and a livelier scene, the Beachcomber is a great beachside bar with raw bar and live music 7 days/week in the summer.
Cahoon Hollow Beach
Our favorite beach. When Kyle first saw the cliff, he was shocked by the East Coast topography. He said it was the best beach in the East! More relaxing than beachcomber beach if that's your vibe.
Downtown Provincetown
~20 minutes from Wellfleet by car or bus, and great downtown area to spend the day shopping, eating, or enjoying pristine beaches at the tip of Cape Cod.
Mac's Shack
Emily's (and now Kyle's) favorite restaurant in Wellfleet. Amazing fresh local seafood and great cocktails. They don't take reservations but you can swing by early to put your name in and checkout the nearby galleries while you wait.
Blackfish
A more upscale dinner option with delicious, creative dishes made with local seafood. Emily worked here during summers in college. Reservations are required and must be made a few weeks in advance but the food is amazing!
Mac's On the Pier
For a more casual, family friendly dinner spot, we love Mac's on the Pier. It's owned by the same person as Mac's Shack and has the same great seafood, but in a more laid back, beach side setting. They have ice cream too!
