Do I have to stay at the Resort?

Answer

No. See “Travel” section for other recommended hotels.

Question

Is there a designated block of rooms?

Answer

No. Guests should book individual rooms in advance. June should not be a busy time for the Resort, however we recommend booking at least 4 months prior.

Will there be transportation to the Wedding?

Answer

Yes- If you are staying at Talking Stick Resort, shuttles will pick you up at 4pm & 4:30pm and drop you off 10:30pm or 11pm. If you choose to stay at a different hotel or Airbnb, you will be responsible for transportation.

Where is Pinnacle Peak Country Club?

Answer

North Scottsdale. 8701 E Pinnacle Peak Rd. The Entrance is between the General Store and Messinger Mortuary. *Look for the PPCC Sign- turn on Clubhouse Way!* Some map apps have a hard time finding it.

What time does the Wedding start?

5pm Cocktail hour 6pm Ceremony 7pm Dinner 8pm Reception All taking place at Pinnacle Peak Country Club.

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

Summer Semi-Formal. Ladies, the lighter the fabric the better. Gentlemen, short sleeved button downs encouraged. It will be hot.. Wearing black is not recommended.

Is it outdoor or indoor?

Outdoor Evening Ceremony. Indoor Cocktail Hour, Dinner & Reception.

Do I need to pick my meal option?

Answer

No, there will be a buffet that will accommodate everyone.

What day should I come to AZ?

Answer

Whatever works for you! Wedding is on a Sunday, so make sure to take Monday the 9th off of work if you’re able!

Is there a Rehearsal Dinner?

Answer

The Rehearsal Dinner will be reserved for the Bridal Party, Parents of the Bride & Groom, and Grandparents. All others are welcome to explore the Resort & the Town!

What should I pack?

Answer

Temperatures in June will be high in Arizona, pack accordingly. See “attire” for the wedding, and wear whatever you want to the Welcoming Night & After Party. The resort has a pool so pack a bathing suit if you plan on taking a dip! Golfers- feel free to bring your clubs! Multiple public courses available to make tee times.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Not unless their name was on the invitation. Due to the limited availability of seats in the Dining Room, not everyone received a plus one.

Anything else I should know?

Answer

Please be on your best behavior at the Club, as the Assistant Dining Room Manager, Emily is extremely grateful to be using this Venue. Be respectful to servers, bartenders, bussers, etc. Tips for my team are encouraged, if you’re able!
