Our story began in 2018 at Stonecrest Behavioral Hospital, where two lives crossed paths without yet knowing how deeply they would intertwine. What started as a simple meeting grew into something more on August 31, 2018—the day we first connected outside of work and truly began getting to know one another. Not long after, we shared our first date in the most meaningful way: Kortez cooked spaghetti at his apartment, and we spent the night talking, laughing, and realizing how easy it felt to be together. It was one of those evenings that quietly changes everything. Meeting Korey was a defining moment. From the very beginning, love came effortlessly. Watching Kortez as a father—patient, present, and devoted—deepened that love and made it clear that this was something special, something lasting. In May 2022, we took another big step and bought our home together, creating a space filled with warmth, laughter, and life. Our family includes three beloved cats—Bella, Honey, and Koko—each adding their own personality and joy to our days. We share a love for simple, grounding joys: gardening, collecting gemstones, long walks in the park, and dreaming together. From that first meeting to building a home and a family, our story has been one of growth, connection, and deep love—and we can’t wait to continue writing the next chapters together. 💛
