We met the way a lot of dancers do, at the studio. Same rooms, same long rehearsals, same shared love for movement and music. At first, it was easy, natural, and familiar. We became friends before anything else, sitting next to each other on a plane ride to a competition in California, laughing, talking, and flirting our way through the trip without fully realizing what it meant yet. That summer was full of moments that almost turned into something more. Long conversations, shared jokes, and a spark that kept showing up when we least expected it. We came close on the Fourth of July, but timing had other plans, and life kept moving. It wasn’t until after a competition win on April 26, 2014, riding high on adrenaline and happiness, that everything finally clicked. Standing together at the hotel, caught in the excitement of the moment, we shared our first kiss. Simple, honest, and unforgettable. That was the beginning. What started as training partners and friends turned into something real, something lasting, and something we are still dancing through together all these years later.
