ANNOUNCEMENT: Our wedding has been postponed to August 30, 2020. We emailed details regarding RSVPs on May 1st--please contact us if you did not receive this email. We ask that everyone RSVP by August 1st (even if you've already done so). Go to "RSVP" tab at the top of this page. Thank you!
We have the entire property at Twin Lake Village (TLV), and everyone is welcome to stay on premise. We absolutely love the property and hope for everyone to stay there with us - this will give you the best opportunity to experience all that TLV has to offer, and is the most convenient for all of the weekend's events. All guests staying at TLV will have their own rooms (i.e., no bunk beds). Almost all rooms will be part of a house with 6-18 total guests in them (including kitchens and bathrooms) and great common areas for hanging out. Don't worry - Kenny and Emily will be making the room assignments to ensure you have a great weekend!
You can make your reservation at TLV starting now by contacting TLV's front desk at (603) 526-6460 (or email tlvkidder@twinlakevillage.com) and letting them know the number in your party and that you are reserving for the Fink/Voshell wedding. TLV accepts checks (no credit cards), which you can then mail to them. Once you have made your reservation, Emily and Kenny will assign you to a specific cottage--again, don't worry, we know you guys pretty well and know who else you will want in your cottage with you. Please make your reservations by August 1st
TLV is in New London, NH - just under 2 hours drive from Boston's Logan Airport, and about an hour from Manchester Airport. We recommend looking at both options, and trying to avoid rush hour if at all possible as there can be a lot of traffic from Boston to New Hampshire (flying to Manchester would help avoid the traffic).
There is a flat rate of $100 per adult per night. This includes the Welcome BBQ on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and Monday and access to all of the TLV facilities including: tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, lawn games, swimming and kayaking in Little Lake Sunapee. Kids ages 2-5 are charged $85 per night, and children under 2 are $10 per night.
Guests are welcome to arrive at TLV on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. You can stay all 3 nights, 2 or 1 night, or drive home if you are within driving distance. All guests will need to check out by Monday afternoon.
The majority of meals will be provided, including a Welcome BBQ Saturday with drinks, Sunday and Monday breakfast for guests staying on site, and of course a full reception Sunday evening. All lodging options have clean running water, but you may want to bring additional drinks or snack food if desired. There is a Hannaford grocery store and NH State Liquor store in New London, about 7 minutes from TLV. Tennis rackets are provided; if you plan on golfing, you may want to bring your own clubs or share with a friend--TLV has limited sets. There are kayaks and boats available at the lake. Keep in mind that late-August nights in New Hampshire can get chilly, so you may want to pack some warmer clothes for the nights. The houses will have hand soap, bath towels and sheets but please bring: shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, hair dryers, beach towels.
Yes, but please include them on the RSVP! When contacting TLV, make sure to let them know you have children, as they have different rates. TLV will provide cribs and highchairs if needed.
Please know that your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have been asking for gift ideas, we have registered through this website - just click on the tab for Registry.
We encourage all guests to enjoy their time at TLV, make the most of the facilities, and bond with other wedding guests. We do have some activities planned-- you can see a full list on the Schedule tab of this website. You are also welcome to relax, hang out, and sit on the covered porch or by Little Lake Sunapee.
As long as the weather is okay, we will primarily be outside for the ceremony and under a covered tent for the reception. The ceremony will be outside, so we advise against stilettos for the women. As New England weather can be all over the place, you should look at the forecast for New London, NH when packing to make sure you are prepared. We do have indoor backup options if the weather outside doesn’t cooperate.
