Why is this happening so suddenly and so quickly?

Answer

Based on the recent political climate and many hard conversations, we felt that we wanted to get married as soon as possible as we did not want to risk not having the option of getting married. While others may have differing thoughts or opinions on this, this is something that we have been monitoring and discussing for awhile and we ask others to respect our decision. We are truly sad that we could not invite everyone we had originally planned on inviting due to the fast nature of this wedding, so please know that you will be with us in spirit on our big day.

Unfortunately, as we have had little time to plan and budget, we are unable to provide an open bar for our celebration.
