Travel Note
Our wedding venue is 50 minutes drive from Málaga airport in Southern Spain. If you're coming straight from Australia or Asia, there are direct flights from Doha to Málaga with Qatar Airlines. Alternatively, if you're traveling around Spain before the wedding, getting to Malaga from Madrid or Barcelona is a piece of cake on either the AVE (high speed train) or a quick domestic flight. If you're coming from the UK (or anywhere in Europe) we recommend flying to Málaga or Gibraltar airport.
Train
Málaga train station is a 50 minute drive to Estepona, which is the nearest town to Molino del Duque. There are brilliant high speed trains from Madrid or Barcelona.
Rental Car
We recommend renting a car while in Southern Spain. There are plenty of car rental companies in Málaga, the Ruckers have always had good experiences with Helle Hollis, who are a fantastic, well priced company. Better yet, we have a 15% off discount code for you! In the blue 'Any discount code?' field when making a booking, enter: H15010 It is worth noting its a short (free) shuttle ride from the airport. Whatever you do, we recommend avoiding Gold Car and Centauro unless you want to be ripped off!
Travel Note
We recommend staying in Estepona (15 mins drive from the venue) or Sotogrande (18 mins drive from the venue). Estepona is a lively town where you'll find apartments in walking distance to the beach, chiringuitos (beach restaurants) and bars. Sotogrande is known as the 'Polo capital of Europe' and there are great apartment options down by the port where you'll be able to walk to restaurants and bars, or beautiful large houses nestled in the hills, which are a drive away from supermarkets, restaurants and bars but lovely and secluded.
