My best friend in the entire world. From back in high school, getting into more trouble than we care admit sometimes, she’s been there for me through it all. She helped me through some of the hardest times of my pregnancy, lived with Justin & I the summer we got engaged, and is always down for anything. From last minute dinner dates, long late night jam sessions, and waaay to much good wine & frozen yogurt, we always have the best times. There aren’t words to describe how lucky I am that God put her in my life when I needed her the most, and I am so honored that she gets to stand by my side as I marry Justin.

I met Amanda through Justin and loved her instantly. Even when Justin and I had tough times, she stood out to me as a true friend and quickly stuck by my side when I needed it. She’s always been genuine, always answered my craziest questions, and helped me through some of the highest and lowest points of my life. I’m so grateful that Justin led me to Amanda, because I don’t everybody deserves to have a friend like her in their lives.

Elly is another friend that goes way back to high school. Ever since we met, I’ve thought of her more as a sister than a friend. She’s been with me through so much and no matter how long we go without having time to get together or talk as much as we’d like, we get back together and it’s like nothing has ever changed. I’m so grateful she’s stood by my side all of these years & even more grateful that she’s standing by my side while I marry my best friend!

Emily is a friend I met through Elly, and I don’t know where I would be without her. We were friends instantly and I’ve always been able to turn to her for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. She’s seen me at my absolute lowest and still loves me. She always has the best advice, knows how to put the biggest smile on anyone’s face, and lights up a room when she walks in to it. There’s not a person that meets her that doesn’t love her instantly & I feel so lucky to get to call her one of my closest friends.

Justin’s sister, but let’s be real. My sister. I’ve loved Jo’Vette since before I met her, she is the sweetest girl with the biggest most genuine heart. She always makes me laugh, turning my kids pictures into memes, and she’s always down to eat some good food with me. I’ve been so blessed with amazing sisters-in-law who have accepted me as their own!

Morgan is another one of Justin’s sisters and another reason I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world. Not only do I get to spend life with my best friend, but I get this amazing woman as a sister, and my kids get her as an aunt! I’ve learned so much from her, laughed endless amounts because of her, and I can’t thank God enough for allowing her & I to be a part of each other’s lives.

Randi is one of my fastest friends, in the sense that from the first time I truly met her, I knew we were going to be friends for life. Randi is my go-to for everything. We have shared so much in the short time I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her. There’s definitely no going back now, she knows way too much about me and she’s stuck with my crazy self! I am so grateful for being able to vent about anything, ask her my weirdest, craziest questions without judgement, and know that not only she will always be down for a good glass of wine or shot of tequila, but she knows me well enough to know when I need which. Everyone absolutely needs a blessing of a friend like this one in their lives.

Initially her and Emily didn’t hit it off but after some food induced persuasion she fell in love with her. She’s brought joy into our lives and keeps us on our toes at all times. She’s 7 going on 27!

My boy Jarvis! My woadie, my round! We really been kicking it since infants and been best friends since then. True definition of a friend. I don’t even see him as a friend anymore he’s family. Growing up his family always treated me as if I was just an adopted son and I am forever grateful for the love him and his family showed me. From playing basketball together in his back yard to watching each other grow as men I couldn’t have chosen a better person to be by my side as I marry the love of my life!

My little big brother Malo! Growing up we were as competitive as they come. I learned a move a game he had to perfect it. I wanted to play ball he had to grow taller and dunk on me. It was always competition but that made us respect and love each other even more. Definitely proud of the man he’s become. He’s the family member that will keep you laughing and spirits high no matter if your grandma just died or you hit the lotto! Blessed to have a brother who was always down for me right or wrong growing up!

I remember going to play ball everyday of the summer and him following right behind me. He’s always been the life of any get together but always cool, calm, and collected. Seeing him pursue his college education and just growing into a great man and soon to be father has really made me happy! Hopefully I’ve been a great role model for him!

My boy Nate! What can say charismatic, funny, and always charming! Above those things mentioned he’s always been loyal and there for me. Him and his brother are part of the reason I ended up moving back to Nebraska. Nate is the true definition of a person who will give you their last if it meant you were happy. After 10+ years of friendship Nate ya become family and I thank God for blessing me with his friendship! Was definitely honored to be asked to stand at his wedding so it was only right I had him up there for my big day!

Helped me get a job at his moms old restaurant when I first moved to town. Definitely kept me fed at Family Connection! When I was one step from being homeless he gave me place to stay and bed to lay on in Lincoln.
