Our story began long before we officially became a couple. Growing up as family friends, we shared many memories, but it wasn't until the summer of 2019 that our paths truly crossed again. During his family's annual 4th of July celebration, we reconnected and quickly realized there was something special between us. Fast forward to 2020, when we decided to take our first official date. It was a fun-filled day spent in the water with all three kids, setting the stage for a relationship that would continue to grow and deepen with each passing day. From that moment on, our bond became stronger, blending our lives and families together.

Our proposal took place at a location that holds a special place in our hearts: his parents' boat dock, the very spot where we always say our story began. After a fun-filled week, he told me he wanted to spend a day with just me and the kids, making it feel like any other perfect day by the lake. Little did I know, the kids were all in on a grand plan. As they jumped into the lake together, Bennett put on quite the performance when she surfaced, pretending to hurt herself. Concerned, I rushed to the edge of the dock and turned my back towards Juste to check on her. This gave Juste the perfect moment to get down on one knee. When I turned around, there he was, with a smile and a ring, asking me to be his wife and officially join our families together, making us a family of five.
