Maid of Honor
We shared a womb once, and have not stopped sharing things ever since. Kenzie is my best friend and #1 confidant and we have enjoyed many years of play fighting, baking, art-ing, school, living together & apart, trips, adventures, and having an extra closet to borrow things from. People often ask what it's like to have a twin and I would say it is the biggest blessing of my life to have a built-in best friend. Kenz has been supportive of our relationship since day one, helping Josue execute ideas in the most artistic & creative ways possible, including the proposal. If I keep writing about how awesome you are I am going to start crying. I love you so much Kenz!

Randy is the kind of friend that inspires you every time you are around him. We met at PUC in a Personal Money Management class with Professor Nunes. As it turns out, we had an interest in the same girl (pre-Emily) and that kickstarted a friendship full of shared experiences mentoring young people, teaching at different church communities and pushing each other to become the best version of ourselves.
Matron of Honor
Whether the beginning of our friendship was destiny or forced by Josue who claimed we were "the same person", is still a mystery. Truth is, Kaylee is an amazing, kind-hearted, loyal, and fun-loving person who I have enjoyed getting to know in the past couple of years. Not to mention, she has housed me and fed me countless times while visiting Josue in Modesto. She has infinite wisdom about wedding-related things and has helped me brainstorm and talk through ideas since day one. I would be LOST without you girl, thanks for being as much of a crybaby as I am and sharing my humor!

Uri is a friend I clicked with right from the start, probably because of our Hispanic background and our love for soccer. We met in Modesto when he and his wife moved back from So Cal. I look up to him in many ways but uniquely in the way he reaches out to the people who often get overlooked. His heart for those people is inspiring.

I've known Hailey for what feels like a lifetime, but in reality, we met Junior year of High school. We have since spent time together at PUC and then at Loma Linda, which truly strengthened the bond of our friendship. We have shared so many crazy, funny, gross moments (ahem, potatoes). I will forever be thankful for all the laughs, the deep conversations we've had, all the late-night talking, and for the unwavering support she's given me. She truly is the most loyal and kind friend one could ever hope for. I run out of words to describe how amazing you are Hails! I have enjoyed growing closer as we grow up together, can't wait for many more years of adventures :)

Benjamin is the guy I wish I was when I was his age—wise beyond his years. I’ve always appreciated his insights and his open mindedness in the conversations I have with him. Ben-ja-meen, is my brother from another mother (and father). He is in many ways the kind of teen every youth pastor want.
Bridesmaid
I wish everyone could have a sister-in-law like Dalia! She has the biggest heart for the people she cares about and she is a trustworthy friend. We've shared many late-night car rides and she has been our favorite third wheel for many outings. Whether it's getting Friday afternoon massages, watching a new movie, checking out a trendy bakery, her visiting me in Spain, or being tourists in her hometown of LA, I have enjoyed every moment I've spent with her. I secretly think she likes me more than her own brother ;) I cannot wait for all the double dates in the future and I am looking forward to many holidays we can take on the cooking together, since we both love it so much. Love ya, D!

Yado is the gift that you never expected to receive. An international student from Ethiopia, Yado and I would never have met if it wasn’t for life bringing him to Modesto, CA as high school student. We, somehow, became roommates and spent his senior year doing life together. He is in many ways like the little brother I never had.
Bridesmaid
I knew Pheobe and I would be friends for a lifetime the moment I met her. Since day one she has been nothing but supportive, warm, and someone I can rely on. Even though we have been apart for a while now, every time we get together it's like no time has passed and we can truly enjoy however much time we have together. I am uplifted every time we talk or hang out because of her sympathetic and kind spirit. Pheobe is someone I look up to for her dedication, work ethic, and adventurous spirit and I am so excited to see where life takes her! Pheob, I am truly honored to have you as part of my wedding party and I am so blessed to know you and call you my friend!
Groomsman
David is my guitar skills coach. He is my go-to guy for all things music and worship. David is the kind of friend that drops what he has going on to help a friend out. He is someone I look up to and I am blessed to be able to have a mentor like him in my life.
Bridesmaid
A fierce volleyball teammate and a kind + loyal friend, Elizabeth is a true lover of all things girly and pink. Don't let that fool you, though, she will go to bat for her friends. She's deemed the "mom" of our friend group because of her caring personality & amazing hosting skills, even if it was just hosting girl's night at the dorms. Although we don't see each other as often anymore, whenever we catch up, it's like no time has passed at all and my heart is fuller from her amazing friendship! I love you girlie, thank you for SO much!
Groomsman
Max is the cool guy I wish I could be. His swagger is enviable and his generosity even more so. We overlapped at PUC and he and his family took me in when I was starting out in Modesto. Max brings a cool demeanor to any room he’s in and has a way of creating unique moments of joy through his cooking skills.
Bridesmaid
I often wonder where Mae gets all her energy from since she can sing and dance her heart our for multiple rounds of karaoke and not be winded! She and I met shortly after Josue started working in Modesto and we have enjoyed many years of double-dating and a few trips together. Mae is always down for adventure, especially if it involves food and she has been a fierce supporter of our relationship, often nudging Josue to "propose, already!". We also happen to share a birthday and we used to drive the same car (down to the color) #twins Mae Mae, I loved being a part of your wedding party and I am excited to have you be part of mine!
Groomsman
Misa is the friend who always brings such positive energy to any room. We met in Modesto through his now-wife, Sherri Mae. Both were solid companions to me when there were few young adults in our community to grow with. I miss having this guy around!
