Things To Do
This place is not a tourist spot, it’s a way to get away from the world, troubles and pressures of society.
- We have a LONG beach to walk along (it takes us 3 hours to walk to the end and back again). It's a stunning walk all along the gulf, well worth the time :)
- There is a pier to fish off of and site see (I've seen dolphins, sharks, pelicans, a lot of wildlife.)
- Swim in the gulf! Due to it's location behind Alligator Point, many animals use this place to lay their eggs and nurse there young. It's relatively shallow in the beginning and it gets deeper the farther you go out.
- Angelo's Seafood is the closest big restaurant and we recommend going if there's a day you don't want to make dinner yourselves! It's on the Ochlockonee Bay and has a beautiful view if you sit on the porch.
- Lastly, if you really want a place to go shopping, Saint George's Island is about an hour east (2 hour round trip drive) from the house we'll be staying.
