Things To Do

Just along the Anacostia River, Navy Yard was once known for the nation's largest naval shipbuilding facility. Today, Navy Yard continues to house the Navy's longest operating federal building. In addition to the many government facilities, Navy Yard offers a spruced up, very walkable, area filled with places to explore.
We have spent many of weekend's down in Navy Yard. Whether it be for a Nat's game or socializing, it is only fitting that our wedding is in a place we love to go.
While you can't go wrong at the many restaurants and bars, a few of our favorites include:
-All-Purpose Pizzeria
-The Salt Line - delicious seafood; for our Newport family, get the Frozen Del's Shandy!
- Mission for yummy Mexican food
- Solace Outpost- a great brewery!
- Bethesda Bagels
Navy Yard has 2 metro stops: Waterfront and Navy Yard. Both metro stops are located on the green line but are only a few stops away from access to the rest of the city!
