FAQs

Below are some common questions you might have about our wedding. If you have any other questions that aren't addressed below, feel free to reach out to Jon or Emma via text or email us at jonandemmasiveyer@gmail.com
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on our Zola website by September 25th, 2026. If you need to edit your RSVP for any reason, you can always do so on our website!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are mainly registered through Zola, and you can find our registry and honeymoon fund on our website under the "Registry" tab. For your convenience, we've set it up so that you are not responsible for ensuring the gifts are delivered, and Jon and I will handle that after our wedding. Of course, you are not obligated to contribute in any way, and your attendance at our wedding is the only gift Jon and I could hope for!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5 pm. We advise you aim to arrive 20-30 mins early so you have ample time to park, greet other guests, and find your seat without rushing.

Question

Is there a dress code? What colors should I avoid?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional. We invite guests to dress in soft colors/florals, but it is by no means required. Your presence and comfort is our top priority!! Ladies: Floor-length or mid-length dresses; fancy cocktail dresses/jumpsuits preferred. Please avoid casual daywear, sundresses, anything above the knee, and any white-to-off-white colors. Gentlemen: Tuxedos/suits and ties preferred. Please avoid any white-to-off-white colors.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors, weather permitting. The wedding will be fully indoors if heavy rain is anticipated.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have specified on your invite whether a plus-one has been provided. If you believe a mistake was made, feel free to reach out to Jon and Emma before September 25th, 2026.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While children are welcome at our wedding, we ask that you only bring them if they are listed as guests in your RSVP. If you have any concerns regarding this, feel free to text Jon or Emma!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel recommendations can be found in the "Travel" section of our website. We are not doing hotel blocks, so please find accommodation at your earliest convenience!

Question

What should I do if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

The food at our reception will be self-serve/carvery-style and offer a variety of options to choose from. If you have any additional concerns, feel free to reach out.

Question

How close together are the ceremony and reception venues? Is additional travel required?

Answer

Our ceremony is on the same estate as the reception, a short walk from the parking lot. The reception area is connected to the parking lot!

Question

What accommodations are offered at the Venue for the elderly and those with disabilities?

Answer

Our venue offers golf cart rides around the estate as needed, and it is fully ADA-compliant. Please reach out with any other questions or concerns!

Question

What else is there to do in the area for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

We've listed some of our favorite places in the area to go for food and activities. This can be found on the "Things To Do" page of our website.

Question

Where should I park if I'm driving to the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot attached to our venue that the address should bring you to. The GPS may try to take you on a bit of a roundabout route once you enter the property. Instead, follow the yellow lines up the hill to the main building, where you'll see a glass atrium. We encourage you to carpool to maximize availability!

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you avoid taking photos during the ceremony as we'd really like everyone to be present in the moment. However, we absolutely encourage you to take plenty of photos during the ceremony. We will provide a QR code on the wedding programs where you can share these photos with us! This code will be available for a few days following the wedding as well.
