Ready to party?

Our "how we met" story is always a fun one to tell. We met in 2016 while I (Emily) was waitressing at a restaurant called Dillon's on Boylston Street. John was out for his friend Pat's birthday, and after trying to get a seat at Boston Burger Company and failing they wound up at Dillon's. I went down to greet the table, and almost immediately John started hitting on me. He was asking me all sorts of questions starting with if I went to Suffolk and then drifting to what kind of meat was in the charcuterie board they ordered. After some small talk he asked for my number, and when I handed him my phone he put in his number and it came up immediately as "John Tinder". It took me a minute to realize, but suddenly it clicked and I realized we matched on the dating app Tinder. We had exchanged numbers from the app and even made plans to go out, but I bailed at the last minute and we didn't speak again until he came into Dillon's weeks later! It took us two months after that encounter to go on our first date, but from there it was all over. We were smitten and inseparable. We spent the next two years going back and forth from my apartment in Back Bay to John's in Charlestown. In 2019 we made the big move to Hermosa Beach, California and have been living the California dream for three incredible years. After 5+ years together we've grown so much individually and together, and are truly each others best friend at the end of the day.
