While we love your children, we respectfully request that our wedding weekend be an adults only event with the exception of our flower girl/ring bearer who will attend the ceremony.
Our wedding calls for formal attire with the option to wear black tie. Ladies are invited to wear long evening gowns, while gentlemen can choose between a suit and tie or a classic tuxedo. Since our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in Charleston during December, when temperatures typically hover around 65 degrees, we recommend checking the forecast and bringing a jacket to ensure your comfort. As the sun sets, we will enjoy dinner and dancing under a heated tent for the reception. Finally, since our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, we recommend ladies avoid stiletto heels and opt for a thicker heel choice.
To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your response by November 1st, 2026 so that we can provide final numbers to our vendors and plan accordingly. You will be able to choose your meal selection as you fill out the RSVP form and notify us of any dietary restrictions.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15 -30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled and enjoy a glass of champagne before the ceremony.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, followed by the reception under a heated tent once the sun goes down. Pashminas will be available for guests, but we recommend bringing a jacket if the weather is cool. If there is rain or especially cold weather, we will move the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors.
Yes! All of our guests are invited to a welcome party at Share House to kick off our wedding weekend. Enjoy cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres with us at this indoor/outdoor location right off of King Street. Dressy casual attire is encouraged. More details can be found on the “schedule” page.
A shuttle will be provided for our guests to and from the wedding on Saturday. The shuttle will pick guests up at the corner of Spring St and King St (by the Hyatt) at 3:15pm. The shuttles will say “Marquee Limo” and “Coastal Limo”. The shuttle will leave the wedding at 9:30pm, and will return to the same location, with an additional stop at “The Commodore” for anyone who would like to continue the evening out.
Yes, convenient parking is available at Lowndes Grove for guests driving to and from the venue. However, please don’t leave your car parked overnight as the parking lot is gated and won’t be accessible Sunday. We will provide a shuttle service for guests staying downtown who would like a ride to the venue. It will pick up at the corner of Spring St and King St (by the Hyatt). Additionally, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Charleston, offering easy transportation options for our guests.
Yes! Please see the hotel page on our website for details of our hotel block.
Charleston is wonderfully walkable, and all of our wedding events will be located downtown. You can easily get from the airport to your hotel via Uber or taxi, and once you're settled, you'll find everything you need within walking distance. If you're interested in exploring nearby beach towns like Kiawah, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, or Folly Beach, we recommend renting a car for those day trips. Otherwise, you can enjoy the charm of downtown Charleston without the hassle of driving.
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
It’s up to you! We will have plenty of heavy hors d’oeuvres that will be enough to make a full meal for everyone. But if there is a restaurant you want to try or you want to get an early dinner before, that’s up to you!
Yes! Ubers are plentiful, especially downtown. A car should arrive in less than 5 minutes for anywhere downtown.
Charleston is typically very mild in early December. Average temperatures are a high of 65, but could be anywhere from 55-75. We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast, and bringing a jacket in case it does get chilly as the sun sets. The reception will be under a tent regardless, and pashminas will be provided.
