Important Details

When should I RSVP by?

May 1st, 2026. Our numbers are very limited, so early RSVPs are greatly appreciated!

Where do I stay?

Springwood! We’ve rented the entire venue for our wedding weekend — all 17 cottages and the full property. All guests will be staying onsite, and your RSVP is a commitment to the full weekend and secures your accommodations. Cottage assignment will be organized based on family and friend groupings, with the primary consideration being the number of beds available in each cottage. This approach ensures that accommodations are allocated fairly and efficiently, while keeping groups together as much as possible.

How do I book accommodation and what is the cost?

Booking will be handled directly through Springwood. The weekend rate includes two nights of accommodation, a welcome dinner, continental breakfast on both mornings, and full access to all of Springwood’s amenities. Accommodations are $200CAD/person and due to Springwood by July 1st via e‑transfer. Email: info@springwoodcottageresort.ca E‑transfer password: ThomsonTopleyWedding If you have any questions, feel free to reach out, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are all meals provided?

We’ll be providing a welcome BBQ dinner, continental breakfast on both mornings, the regular reception meal, and most importantly... campfire s’mores. Guests are on their own for lunch on both days, but each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, BBQ, and all basic cooking essentials, making it easy to prepare something.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed with their name. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party. We encourage you to use our wedding as a date weekend!

Is there parking?

Yes - there is parking outside of each of the 17 cottages and additional parking on Springwood property.

Is it an open bar?

Yes! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! Don't forget to bring cash to tip the bartenders! Guest are permitted to bring their own alcohol to consume in their cottages or anywhere on the resort on their own time. Please, enjoy yourselves and everything the venue has to offer. We just ask that you drink responsibly, especially when near the water.

Is there a dress code?

For the ceremony and reception our vision is garden formal. No jeans, shorts, or white attire please! As for the weekend, we want our guests to be comfortable in whatever they need to enjoy the facilities at Springwood and the beautiful lake. Make sure you bring a swimsuit, beach towel, and warm clothing for the Friday night bonfire.

Is the wedding outside?

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony & reception will be outside and under a tent. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day!

For all the days along the way
