Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Women may wear midi or long dresses and men will be comfortable in a suit or a blazer. We would love for guests to incorporate something blue into their outfit to celebrate with us!
Yes! We ask all guests to wear a touch of blue as you are officially our "something blue". Whether it be a blue dress, suit, tie or even shoes; anything and any shade of blue will do!
Yes! Our wedding is fully outdoors in August! We recommend wearing breathable fabrics! For the ladies, please keep in mind that parts of the event will be on grass, so block heels or wedges may be more comfortable.
While we would love to include your significant other, unfortunately, plus ones are reserved for our married and engaged guests, unless specifically indicated on your invitation.
Only if your children are specifically indicated on your invite. We hope you will use our wedding as the perfect excuse for a date night!
Plenty of parking will be available on the lawn in front of the Manor House. Follow the signs to the designated area, park and then walk straight through the front door of the house to find your seat for the ceremony!
The venue is mostly flat, but the ceremony will take place on grass. If you will need assistance, please indicate on your RSVP and we can arrange a golf cart ride down to the ceremony so you can be safely and comfortably seated.
Absolutely! Just let us know about any allergies or dietary preferences when you RSVP and we will make sure your meal is safe and delicious. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration without worry!
Yes! We will provide transportation from downtown Chesapeake City and the Fairfield Hotel & Suites in Middletown, Delaware. Please indicate on your RSVP if you will be using transportation and include the address where you are staying so we can plan accordingly.
The reception officially ends at 11:00 PM, but we will keep the celebration going for an extra two hours with dancing, drinks and late-night snacks! Please RSVP if you plan on staying for the late night festivities and would like transportation back to your accommodations.
