FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before Sunday September 1st. This will give our vendors such as the caterers plenty of time with the final numbers. You can RSVP here or by either letting Jayde or Myself know through the usual channels. (prophetic dreams, ominous muttering or smoke signals are not acceptable forms of RSVPing) Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon. We will have a wishing well set up at the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm sharp so please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive. We recommend getting to the Marisma Ranch before 4:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is Medieval-Gothic-Western. Please feel free to dress however you interrupt the theme. Above all, be comfortable. Your presence is not only cherished but integral to the magic of our special day. Let your imagination run wild as you select your attire for our unique celebration. Whether you choose to channel the elegance of medieval royalty, the darkness of gothic romance, or the rugged charm of the wild west, your creativity is bound only by the limits of your imagination. Comfortable Footwear: As our festivities take place on a real working farm, we kindly ask that you come prepared with comfortable footwear, preferably boots, to navigate the rustic terrain with ease. Let your shoes be a reflection of your adventurous spirit as you explore the sprawling beauty of our venue. BYO Sword: In a nod to tradition and chivalry, we invite you to bring your own sword to the festivities. As we embark on our journey as newlyweds, we dream of passing beneath a sword bridge formed by our beloved guests. Let your swords be symbols of honour, unity, and the enduring bonds of friendship and love.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of street parking along Linton-Carngham Road and Weary Jones Lane. There will also be overflow parking if required a short distance from the ceremony which will be accessed via a horse drawn carriage.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Royal Snake Valley Hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the ceremony but a horse drawn carriage can be arranged at your request.
