Jason and Emily were starting the second semester of their Sophmore year at Kent State University. One of Jason's friends was moving into a new dormitory with three random roommates. While Jason was helping his friend move in, Emily walked in. Jason and Emily made quick introductions and continued to move furniture into the new dorm. Sometime later after Jason and Emily had been developing their friendship for a few months; Jason asked Emily out to the most premier dining on campus: Boars Head for their delicious deli sandwiches. The relationship became official a few weeks later. Ever since Jason and Emily first met, they were destined to be best friends even if they did not know it quite yet.
After several years of Emily asking "Where is the ring?!", Jason found the perfect way to ask the most pivotal question of his life. Emily and Jason went on a hike to Tolmie Peak in Mount Rainier National Park in Western Washington with two of their friends. Along this long and taxing journey up the mountain were some of the most beautiful sights one could imagine. After a quick lunch and a beer at the top of the mountain Emily posed for a photo with Mount Rainier in the distance. When she turned around Jason was on one knee with tears in his eyes and an unflattering buffalo sweatshirt on. Jason tried to recite the speech he had said to himself one hundred times over the previous months and years, however, this time it did not come out as he had planned. He quickly muttered, "Emily, will you marry me?" in a panic. Emily screamed "YES!" We celebrated with a small bottle of champagne and made our decent down the mountain after pictures and many tears of joy.
