FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To help us accommodate everyone comfortably, only guests who are specifically listed on the invitation are invited to attend. If you have been given a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation. Thank you for understanding and for helping us celebrate with the guests we've planned for!

Question

Are there accommodations for guests visiting from out of town?

Answer

The Ayres Hotel in Laguna Beach is our preferred hotel with special group rates for our guests. Reservations can be made by using our group link https://reservations.travelclick.com/12623?groupID=5323022 , or by calling the hotel at 949-588-0131, extension 0 and mentioning the Maturo & Doktorczyk Wedding. The closest airports for traveling guests are John Wayne Airport (SNA), Long Beach Airport (LGB), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and San Diego International Airport (SAN).

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors. Mid-January weather in Aliso Viejo typically brings temperatures in the mid-60s during the day, so we recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening just in case. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will be held both inside the Grand Hall foyer and outside on the patio, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy both spaces. The reception will take place indoors in the Grand Hall at the event center, where we'll celebrate the rest of the evening together!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is formal attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear long dresses or gowns in winter-inspired colors such as navy, dark green, tan, silver, gray, or other rich, darker tones. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or dress pants with a collared shirt (a tie or jacket is welcome but not required, unless you'd like to!). We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing athletic wear, jeans, T-shirts, or other casual attire. Thank you for helping us create an elegant atmosphere for our celebration!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so we kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 3:40 PM. Arriving early will allow you time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Parking is easy and completely free at the venue! Guests will have access to a large, dedicated parking lot located directly in front of the event center. A limited number of EV charging stations are also available. The venue and parking lot are fully wheelchair accessible, with ample accessible parking spaces available. Venue Address: 31 Santa Barbara Dr. Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to park and make your way to the ceremony before it begins promptly at 4:00 PM. There are no shuttles between the hotel and wedding site.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be turned off or placed on silent, put away, and not used during the ceremony. Thank you for being fully present with us while our photographer captures these special moments!

Question

What can I expect for dinner and drinks?

Answer

During cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a selection of hors d'oeuvres while mingling and celebrating. Dinner will be served buffet style, featuring a variety of options including chicken, beef, fish, and an assortment of sides. An open bar will be available throughout the evening. We look forward to celebrating with great food, drinks, and dancing!
