Our venue is a historical landmark in Jacksonville Beach. Because of this, we are limiting children to just those in the bridal party. Unless specified on your invitation, we request you bring your best dancing shoes to enjoy your night off with us! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time for child care.
We are so excited to see all of our favorite people in their best formal attire. See https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet if you have any questions about what to wear. We ask that all guests refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride: white, ivory, cream, light silver, blush pink, and champagne. If you are unsure if your outfit falls in the proper dress code, feel free to message Emily directly with questions.
While we are getting married in December, Florida's weather can be pretty unpredictable. On our date last year it was warm and sunny. Our venue does have heaters, so we suggest dressing for warmer weather rather than cooler.
Casa Marina has all wedding locations in the same spot, so there is no need to try and find transportation from the ceremony to the reception. There is plenty of parking in Jacksonville Beach near the venue for our guests to use.
The overall theme of the wedding is Elegant Christmas. Most of the decorations will be red, green, and bronze, so please refrain from wearing those.
You will be missed! Please RSVP no later than the date indicated on your invitation so that we can plan accordingly. If you do not RSVP by the date, it will be assumed that you can not attend.
Ceremony time is 4:00 PM sharp, so please arrive no less than 30 minutes early so that you have time to park and find your seat. We don't want you to miss any of the good stuff!
We have a very strict guest list in order to stay on budget and for capacity limitations at our historical venue. Our wedding is strictly invite only, so we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation.
