The dress code for our wedding is coastal formal! For women, long or midi-length fun and formal dresses (for our English friends, think Ascot attire) and for men a suit. Bright colors, florals, summery fabrics, and comfortable enough to dance the night away in! For the wedding ceremony, we are asking anyone interested to lean into the English tradition of wearing a hat! Fascinators, headbands, and occasion hats are all welcome. This is an opportunity for everyone to channel their inner Brit :) If you would like any inspiration or ideas, I have created a collage of some fun dresses! In the Explore Manteo tab of the website, we have made an interactive Google Map of different parking lots downtown to try throughout the weekend. Manteo has lots of street parking, as well as different public parking lots that are free to the public! If parking and walking isn't your thing, or you don't want to be the DD for the night, Uber is a great option in Manteo! During the summer there are plenty of drivers around.
Yes! We have a hotel block at the Pearl Hotel in downtown Manteo, NC. It is 0.1 miles away from the wedding reception venue, and a beautiful hotel. Please contact Lisa Ayers at the Pearl Hotel and mention the Fox Woods wedding when booking by May 7, 2025. We also have a second hotel block at the Tranquil House Inn in downtown Manteo, two blocks away from the reception venue 108 Budleigh. The Tranquil House Inn is a lovely waterfront hotel with a great restaurant on the main floor, 1587 Restaurant and Lounge. Call when booking and mention the Fox/Woods wedding to join the hotel block! Rooms must be reserved by April 23, 2025. If you would rather stay in a different hotel, or make a week of the wedding festivities and stay at a rental home in the Outer Banks, we have listed several options on the 'Travel' section of the website! Manteo and Nags Head are the primary locations for the weekend, but there are amazing accommodations throughout OBX to stay. Please keep in mind that the summer season in the Outer Banks will be in full swing in June, so we recommend booking as early as possible for any accommodation to make sure there will be availability.
If your invitation is addressed to your family, or your child is specifically listed on the invitation, then yes! However, we will not be providing any childcare accommodations during the celebrations.
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation.
As we get closer to the wedding day, we will continue updating this website with information! Keep checking back in for any details you will need to know, and if you have any questions, text us!
