Please arrive by 5:30 PM to find your seat and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. The ceremony will lead directly into the banquet dinner, which will conclude around 9:00 PM.
Our wedding is centered around the banquet! The night will be a focused celebration of food, family, and friends. We’ll be coming around to each table to toast with you and taking group photos throughout the meal so we can spend quality time with everyone.
To keep things seamless, you will be seated directly at your assigned banquet table for the ceremony. An aisle will run through the middle of the tables, so you'll have a great view of the "I Do’s" right from your seat!
Mayflower has plenty of free parking in it's parking lot directly in front of the restaurant.
A Chinese banquet is a multi-course, family-style feast designed for abundance and community. Instead of a single plated entrée, you can expect a steady progression of 8 to 10 shared dishes—typically starting with a cold appetizer platter and moving through seafood, poultry, succulent meats, and eventually ending with fried rice or noodles. Everything is served on a rotating "Lazy Susan" at the center of the table, so feel free to help yourself as the dishes come around. Just be sure to pace yourself, as the meal is a marathon! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let Emily or Jamey know ahead of time and we will ensure your table will have dishes suited to your needs.
