Ceremony Schedule GROOM'S PROCESSIONAL- HAI CHANOUN KON KOMLOH Family and Friends are encouraged to join James in a parade with gifts to announce that he means to marry his Bride, Emily. HAIR CUTTING- CAAT SAH Their hair is "cut" to signify a fresh start. Family and friends symbolically cleanse the Bride and Groom of their past. HONORING THE ANCESTORS- SIEN CHI DOAN CHI TAA Emily and James pay homage to their ancestors by lighting incense and providing offerings. It is also known as a "call" to ancestors to come and witness the family bonds that are being formed and bestow their good wishes SEVEN CIRCLES- BOMVUL PRAMPEL Married couples are invited to join in a circle around Emily and James. Candles are passed clockwise seven times and the smoke is waved toward the couple, representing the passing of blessings. KNOT TYING- CHONG DAAI During this part of the ceremony, friends and family give their blessings by tying string to the wrists of the Bride and Groom. Dinner to follow @5pm

Ceremony starts at 4pm by the water Cocktail hour and reception to follow (Open bar from 4:30pm-10:30pm) James and I are truly looking forward to the attendance of each and every one of you on such a day. There is no obligation for any guest to make a speech or propose a toast, however, we would be remiss to not provide the opportunity for you to say a few words if you wanted to.
