FAQs

Question

What is the weather like in May in Tulsa, OK?

Answer

Tulsa in early May is usually pleasant and spring-like. Average daytime highs are around 75 degrees, while evenings can dip to about 55 degrees. Rain showers are possible, but May days are often sunny with gentle breezes. We recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for the evening and keeping an umbrella handy - just in case spring showers decide to join the celebration.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

The reception will be cocktail attire. Gentlemen, a jacket is recommended. Ladies, short or long dresses are both welcome. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place in a Catholic Church.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are delighted to welcome our family and friends to Tulsa. A block of rooms has been booked at The Brut Hotel in downtown Tulsa. Please mention the Youngwirth/Hall Wedding when booking to receive the group rate. Other options in the area include: Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown Aloft Tulsa Downtown Hotel Indigo Tulsa

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in this sacred Catholic service. Once we’re at the reception—absolutely! Snap away, celebrate, and capture all the fun moments with us.

Question

What transportation will be available?

Answer

Yes! We’re happy to make getting around easy for our guests. Old Urban Trolley will begin picking up guests at The Brut Hotel at 6:15 PM and transporting everyone to Holy Family Cathedral for the ceremony. After the ceremony, the trolley will shuttle guests from Holy Family Cathedral to the reception at Cain’s Ballroom. At the end of the night, the trolley will run from 11:00 PM to midnight, taking guests from Cain’s Ballroom back to The Brut Hotel. In addition, The Brut Hotel offers a complimentary 16-person shuttle for guests. It can be used anytime within a 5-mile radius to help you get to Holy Family Cathedral, Cain’s Ballroom, or back to the hotel as needed. We hope this makes your evening smooth and enjoyable!

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us!
