Believe it or not, we matched on Tinder and the rest is history. I (Emily) finally responded to Jake's Tinder pick-up line 2 months after we matched lol. After matching and exchanging contact information we spent 3 weeks staying up all night talking on the phone and planning our first date. With the 2 1/2 hour drive distance between us and conflicting work schedules, it took us several weeks to meet. Turns out Jake can be late to respond also proven by the fact that he was 6 hours late for our first date. Although we were both a little behind, we are more ahead in life now than ever before. After many months of long-distance, we finally made things official on October 23, 2022. A little over a year later on October 28, 2023 Jake proposed at a little cabin in Hot Springs, AR. Our love has been the easiest and so adventurous from the beginning. We have visited other countries together, traveled to so many beautiful places, and have been on more adventures together than we can count. Although we aspire to travel the world, our favorite place to be is together. We live every day together to the fullest and we are so excited to get to spend forever as travel partners, lovers, and best friends.
