Things To Do

Camelback Mountain

Camelback Mountain

Phoenix, AZ 85018

Camelback is only a short drive from the venue and offers amazing views of the valley. Be aware, the trail is steep and slippery in spots so come prepared and bring plenty of water!

Tom's Thumb

Tom's Thumb

Tom's Thumb Trail, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Tom’s Thumb is Jackson’s favorite hike in Phoenix. A bit further away from the venue but worth the trip if you have time. More even footing and less strenuous than Camelback but still 1000 ft elevation change. Beautiful views from the top of Scottsdale to the south and mountains to the north. Bring water!

Gateway Trailhead - McDowell Sonoran Preserve

Gateway Trailhead - McDowell Sonoran Preserve

18333 North Thompson Peak Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

A nearby trailhead offering many hiking options. Emily’s favorite hiking spot in town! Offers beautiful views of Scottsdale and desert landscape with many saguaro cacti (but not much shade). Our go-to is the 4 mi Gateway loop but there are shorter and longer options. Bathrooms and water available at trailhead.

Tacos Chiwas

Tacos Chiwas

1028 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85014

One of our favorite taco spots in town. Margaritas are also great!

Fat Ox

Fat Ox

6316 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85253

Upscale Italian cuisine and very good drinks right down street from the Omni. Typically need reservations but can walk-in to bar.

The Global Ambassador

The Global Ambassador

4360 East Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018

Swanky hotel with awesome rooftop bar with views of Camelback Mountain. Right near the Phoenix Suns practice facility so the people watching is next level.

Desert Botanical Garden

Desert Botanical Garden

1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008

Extensive trails/gardens and fun place to learn more about the desert.
