My favorite memory of Em and Izaya is the proposal! When Izaya first told me that he was planning to propose, his excitement was so evident! He was so proud of the ring and all of his proposal ideas. Then, when Izaya moved up the date (to that evening) and called to tell me, I could hear his elation. I was so happy and grateful to be there for the moment we've all been waiting for!!

One of my favorite memories with Izaya is teaching him how to ride his bike and eventually teaching him to ride his bike on two wheels. Izaya has always known that I love this memory but he doesn’t quite know why. Riding and fixing my bike as a kid was my favorite thing to do. It was my escape from life and when he was old enough to ride I couldn’t wait to teach him. I couldn’t wait to make sure he had the coolest bike and fix it up for him. I couldn’t wait to share what was so important to me with him in hopes he would find the same joy, happiness and escape it gave me.

My favorite memory with Emily is the "photoshoots" that we did literally every time we hung out I can provide pics upon request;)... Growing up, Emily and I genuinely had the best times together no matter what we did.

My favorite memory would probably be every summer in the sun room at his old house. There'd be like 6 of us packed in that small room with no AC playing video games and staying up until like 5 am playing manhunt. Izaya tried to scare everyone like he saw someone in the backyard.

One of my favorite memories is probably when Emily and I were driving together and heading to Izaya’s apartment on campus and decided to sneak Grover in… we were worried Izaya was going to be mad but he ended up laughing about it and everyone there was full of smiles and laughing their asses off..

My favorite memory with Izaya is when Izaya lived with me for the whole summer. We went to the rink everyday to skate and just got to enjoy the whole summer together.

My most favorite memory has to be one of the first summers I met Izaya. We went to a Luke Combs concert. The concert itself was amazing, but I remember looking over to the two of them in complete awe thinking that their relationship was real and he is possibly even the one. I don't think I've ever seen Emily so comfortable with someone. It was so cute that I had to sneak a picture of the two of them in their own little world. I know that this didn't necessarily include me, but it was such a cute moment that it needs to be told.

Growing up with Izaya all the times after school we would play hockey and basketball.. all the hockey games Amerks, Sabres, and penguins we’ve gone to together , including game 5 vs New York , the Penguins won 7-2; it was a blast.

I have so many great memories with Izaya after living with him and being around him during the year we lived together in grad school. Some of my favorites include playing video games for hours with our friend group online, our late night runs to get fast food, and watching Izaya watch sports on our TV. He gets so worked up, even for games he doesn't care about. However, I think the best memory is the day that he asked me to be one of his groomsmen. I am so grateful that our friendship has grown into what it is and that he considers me a close enough friend to be in his wedding.
