Wedding Ceremony 2020

Emily and Ira first met volunteering in 2016. She was wearing a leather jacket and showing 8th graders how to build trebuchets. He had very cool hair. 

Their first date was at a coffee shop, after re-meeting in 2018 at MechaCon New Orleans.

Through it all, a love of all things nerdy and civically minded mentalities brought these two together!

How We Met

Due to Covid-19 concerns, we'll be having a small private ceremony on Halloween 2020 with the option for guests to participate virtually using Zoom. Worry not, we'll be having a large ceremony next year (Oct. 30th 2021) so we can celebrate in person with all of our loved ones. More information on the ceremony in 2021 to come.
