Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no parking allowed at the venue or adjacent streets and Ubers aren't allowed. A shuttle will be provided from the lot pictured location. The parking lot is located at Acuity Eye Group. The address of the building is 47474 Washington Street in La Quinta, but you cannot enter the lot from Washington Street. The entrance to the lot is from Caleo Bay. Directions from Washington Street: Turn East onto Lake La Quinta Drive Quick left onto Caleo Bay 1st left into parking lot

How does the shuttle work?

Answer

Shuttle departs at 2:30 and 2:45 from parking lot. 9:15 shuttle will make a stop at the parking lot before going to the after party at La Quinta Brewery in Old Town. 9:45 shuttle will take remaining people to the brewery. There won't be a shuttle after the after party. You may leave your car overnight at the parking lot.

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Although it is November, it will be warm in La Quinta. Feel free to wear bright colors and printed dresses. The ceremony and reception will be outside. It can get cool at night, so you may want to bring a light sweater. We will all be walking on grass.

Although we love your little ones, we ask you to leave them at home so you can have a nice night off!

We do not have a hotel block but we do have recommended hotels to stay at. Airbnb is also a great option.

We prefer you enjoy the moment and not take any photos or videos during the ceremony.

What nearby airports are recommended?

Answer

There multiple airports that can be used to get to La Quinta. Below are what we consider to be the 4 best options: 1: LAX which is about a 2.5 hr drive (depending on traffic) to La Quinta. 2: San Diego Airport which is approx. a 2.5 hr drive (depending on traffic) to La Quinta. 3: John Wayne Airport in Irvine which is about a 2 hr drive (depending on traffic) to La Quinta. Please note that is a slightly smaller airport that might not have a lot of flight options. 4: Palm Springs airport which is approx. 20 min to La Quinta. This is a small airport that might not have a lot of flight options. Other possible options to assess are Long Beach Airport, approx 2 hrs from La Quinta, and also Ontario Airport which is approx 1 hr from La Quinta.

What is the best way to get from LA to La Quinta?

Answer

Car is the best way to get to La Quinta (about 2.5 hours from LA without traffic), but be cautious about going at rush hour, especially Friday afternoon/evening.
