Our guest attire is "dressy casual" - wear what's comfortable (sundresses, khakis, slacks, collared shirts, cocktail dress - whatever you want)! We will be outside, so make sure you bring layers (or be ready to DANCE to stay warm). You're also more than welcome to bring a casual outfit to change into if you're ready to stay late and party ;)
For guests looking for hotel rooms, we recommend the hotels below. Note that we did not reserve a block of rooms, so you will have to book independently. We recommend booking early because October is foliage season in Maine, so there will be lots of tourists in the area. :) - Poland Spring Resort in Poland, Maine (13-minute drive from wedding venue) - Oxford Casino Hotel in Oxford, Maine (15-minute drive from wedding venue) - Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch in Auburn, Maine (30-minute drive from wedding venue) - Hampton Inn Lewiston-Auburn in Lewiston, Maine (30-minute drive from wedding venue) Our venue is also allowing us to use the camp bunkhouses for some of our guests to stay over at the venue, free of charge, on Saturday night (October 4th). The bunkhouses are large, shared accommodations with basic bunkbeds and a bathroom (there will be about 20+ people per bunkhouse, mixed gender). Guests who would like to stay at the venue and camp out in the bunkhouses will need to bring their own sleeping supplies (linens, sleeping bag, and pillow), which can be dropped in the cabins before the ceremony. Remember - Maine gets cold at night, so bring layers to camp! This is first-come, first-serve, so please be sure to confirm with Em via text (207-956-3207) that you have a bunk!
Nope! We have everything we need. No gifts necessary! If you'd like to donate to our honeymoon fund to celebrate our marriage, we would greatly appreciate it! We are going to Thailand, and we are so beyond excited. 🐘🌿☀️ You can donate via cash or Venmo. Emily's venmo is @EmilyGagne1 (last four digits of phone number: 3207) and Ian's venmo is @ijdonnelly11 (last four digits of phone number: 0364). We appreciate you so much. Traveling is our favorite thing!
Though we love your kids, this is a big event, and space is limited. Please make this a date night. :) Our event is 21+. Thank you for understanding! We can't wait to party with you ;)
Please RSVP by August 17th using the link that is posted under the "RSVP" tab. You can also scan the QR code on your invitation. If you are having difficulty RSVPing virtually, you can contact Emily to RSVP at 207-956-3207
Nope! We will have an open bar at our event that will serve wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beer and seltzer. We have a lot of guests, so we will not be serving hard alcohol so that the bar lines move efficiently. :) Any tips for our bartenders would be greatly appreciated, though, so if you have an extra $10 in your wallet, consider dropping it in the tip jar ;)
