This is one of our favorite short hikes in Roanoke and the spot where Hunter proposed! The view will not disappoint!

You can either start at the trailhead (1209-1269 Riverland Rd SE, Roanoke, VA) and hike to the top or you can drive to the star itself at the address listed above.

Mill Mountain Star

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Roanoke! We highly recommend the fried chicken biscuit with pimento cheese.

Scratch Biscuit Company

This cozy restaurant sits along the Roanoke River and is one of our go-tos after a day of tubing or biking on the greenway

The Green Goat

If you're looking for a nicer restaurant in town, we recommend Billy's. 
You can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
